How do I backup Hosted Exchange?

You could always manually backup your .PST file ever so often, but this is a pain in the you know what!
Let your Hosted Exchange Provider do this for you on the server side of things. Make sure they have an active disaster recovery plan and regularly test procedures.
Normally this is where we say "trust us, making sure you're Hosted Exchange Provider has a rock solid disaster recovery plan in place is CRITICAL! Unless of course you enjoy losing your data..." - but hey don't take our word for it, read some user reviews and you will understand how bad this can be.
Here are some good questions to ask:
- Do you have a disaster recovery plan in place? Can you explain it for me?
(if they cant explain it in detail on the spot - hang up!) - How often do you backup to disk?
- How often do you backup to tape?
- How often do you do incremental backups?
- How often do you do full backups?
- Do you store your tape media offsite?
- Are you SAS certified? SAS type II certified?
- How fast can you restore my data after a "disaster"?
- etc.
